Tatton Lodge is a traditional bed and breakfast based in Londonderry village, just outside Leeming Bar in North Yorkshire. It is owned by ex-flat jockey Jim Bleasdale and his wife Denise and has been in the Bleasdale family since 1979.

Tatton Lodge first opened it's doors to customers in October 1991 and has been providing a friendly home from home atmosphere ever since. It has recently been extended and refurbished and now includes 5 bedrooms which are all en-suite and a comfortable dining area.

Jim, who still has strong links with the racing industry and teaches racing apprentices, won over 800 races in the UK and abroad. He rode winners in Hong Kong, Malaysia, India and Singapore. In fact Singapore was one of his most successful tracks, winning two Singapore Derbys back to back.

Jim retired in 1991, but still rides out for trainer Ann Duffield and works for  the British Racing School training the apprentices.

Denise is also a horse lover, and you can see her beautiful equines in the paddocks adjoining the gardens of the B & B.
